The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Park
This park is going to be in the King George V Playing Field, Newington, Folkestone.
We have kindly been given a 15m x 15m plot within the playing field by our local Parish Council, which we are going to tarmac, This will have a mini ramp, a fun box, and a grind bench on. It will also have a basketball hoop and some outdoor exercise equipment.
To be able to do this we need to raise funds to the value of £35,000.00
This will be an area that all ages can use.
We are a small parish and at present we have no outdoor facilities for anyone over the age of 10, once they have outgrown the existing play area. This is why we would like to get this new park.
